Founded in Sweden in October 2023, Juth Matcha was born from a shared love for matcha.

The name Juth comes from our names, Julia and Thea - two true matcha enthusiasts who were missing high quality matcha in the Scandinavian market. Juth symbolizes us as founders, as well as a sense of “youth” - something we associate with matcha: vibrant, mindful, and full of energy.

Over time, our curiosity for matcha turned into a deeper passion for understanding what makes matcha truly special, from taste and quality to origin.

To learn more, we spent months exploring and tasting over 50 different matcha powders from Japan. That journey taught us how much difference there is between average, good, very good, and exceptional matcha.

Today, interest in matcha continues to grow and gain love and attention globally. We’re still learning, tasting, and exploring everything matcha, while sharing our favorites with a community we truly cherish.
